Back in 1994 when this was going on I was 18. All the new age dead-head hippie friends that I worked with wanted to go to this and they all were supposed to work on the day of. Myself and the other dude covered for them. I didn’t want to go because I thought tickets were over priced and it was just an ill mockery of the original as was WS99. These days with fests like Bonnaroo and every other fest going on there is no necessity for another Woodstock. It was just an sick excuse for the promoters and vendors to jack up prices on everything among other things.
Scott. Tell me how you really feel about Woodstock the Sequel.
I agree this was a sorry excuse for a festival and just another way to bleed fans dry. However, I couldn’t do my last week justice without slipping in some Green Day.
I understand. I was just sayin’. Perhaps WS94 wasn’t such a bad idea and I think it was done with good intentions but 99 was just a catastrophe and the spirit of woodstock 69 can never really be emulated.
I remember Woodstoc 94 .
I have a few home made DVDs /that are transferred from olhatd VHS home recordings.
I think it’s a shame .
That thre’s no multy disk DVD set available.
Because what is available is very poor uality/but I just want to hang on to what I have.
Jus fore the sake of looking back and remembering it.
