Three Music Channel Happenings
There’s usually a lot going on around the b5media Music Channel. Always something new to see, something new to hear. It takes a lot more than just hippie sounds to keep the world of music peaceful.
Here are three of my current favorite offerings from various music blogging pals.
First off I have to mention Lauren at the Oz Music Scene who has been working double time trying to win me over to the musical styling from down under. It’s worked. She dug up an amazing and fun video of Aussie crooner David Campbell and it is fly. I’ve got a whole new respect for Australia sounds and you will too. Go visit today.
Next up is a blog where I’ve been happily reliving my teen years, The Production Side. Was I a record producer in my former years? Why no. In fact The Production Side covers mainly sounds of the 90s. Querky name. Great blog. Albert will entertain you with 90s nostalgia and also bring you the latest news on all your favorite bands, like Alice In Chains so go take a look.
A Contest! Who doesn’t love a contest where you can win free music? That’s what you’ll find at Metal Martyr. Scott is offering a free CD to one random reader — all you have to do to win, is create your own ideal fantasy band and post it in the comments. Scott will draw a winner soon. It’s simple, in fact, I think the only contest rule is that if you want a Justin Timberlake CD you will be “automatically be disqualified and banned from Metalmartyr.com for life!” A fine rule if I ever heard one. Go on, you’ve only got about a week left to win some new tunes.
