The Entire Music Channel is Guilt Ridden

Yesterday I posted my ten most embarrassing music moments ever (or at least the ten I decided to admit). What you may know or not know is that the rest of the channel was in on this too. For those of you who missed it; I’m not the only one around here indulging in some guilty music pleasures.
I always have a favorite list when one of my channels gets together for a theme day and this theme day was no exception. Well, it was sort of an exception because I actually had two favorites.
Metal Martyr had an awesome list. Mainly I think because it’s so fun to see someone go so far opposite of what you’d expect plus this may have been the only list that got some real (and undeserved) slack from a commenter — go see how Scott handles readers feelings about his 10 Guilty Music Pleasures.
Big Apple Music Scene had a great list too. Sadly because I was on board with much of it. Also, this is a guy that admits to liking stuff like Love Fool and (gulp) Hold On! Ok, I’m not so on board with Wilson Phillips but you know you want to read the rest of this list.
We also had many other fine embarrassing lists from other music fans around the channel like…
- Oz Music Scene: Go see this fine list by our resident Aussie because well, in a word Xanadu rocks! Alright two words.
- Son of a Preacher Man and other fine geek inspired tunes (that I like too) showed up at She Plays Music.
- Our Digital Music knows it’s wrong but just can’t help himself.
- Dave at Brit Music Scene always seems to know all the cool stuff so I was surprised when Spice Girls and some other gasp worthy items showed up on his list.
- Along with Dave I always sort of think of Roberta at Ear Sucker as a blogger who knows what’s up and what’s hot in the music world — well, not so much today. You have to see this list. Although, I will argue anyone forever who says Jane’s is not cool.
- The Good Musician put Pet Shop Boys on his list! I love them. He does have some other really bad tunes though so check it out.
- 52 Bands has some great embarrassing newer song picks — otherwise known as stuff Sammi knows not to enjoy but does anyway.
