Hippie Sounds: Changes for the New Year
Hey all. I’ve had a great time here talking about Joni, Jerry, Dylan, CSN, and all the other many fine musicians of the 60s and 70s but in another week I’m going to be moving on to other adventures. I’ve had some interesting (and good) opportunities come my way as of late but seeing as how there’s only 24 hours in the day something has to change to make way for new change.
Someone very cool is coming in to take over where I’m leaving off; Stacey, who I guarantee you will like. Stacey’s got a fresh outlook, knows her hippie music, and is super kind to boot. An all around great girl who will be able to offer a lot to this blog.
Stacey will be joining us here just about any second now, so we’ll be co-blogging until the end of December, before I take off in the new year. I hope you will kindly welcome Stacey and enjoy her style as much as I do.
In other news; I’m having the longest day known to man. No peace, no flowers, no calming tunes today. In fact, I haven’t even been listening to my regular diet of 60s or 70s music. I sort of moved up to the early 80s today. Which I’m sad to say means that we all are going to listen to the early 80, cause that’s what I’ve got going on.
Ah, early 80s. Tunes from these fine fellows always makes me feel better when I’m having a long day. How can you not feel better when listening to this band…

Thanks for the luck; I’ll take it. I guess you’ll just have to visit Offbeat now, or maybe Tree Hugging Family. I can’t really see you visiting Pregnancy & Baby ;)
Also, there was a lot of bad 80s music but there were way more bad 80s outfits. Yikes. I have a friend who is convinced there will be an 80s outfits comeback. Now that’s scary.
