Legendary Apple Corps CEO and schoolfriend of both George Harrison and Paul McCartney, Neil Aspinall, has died from lung cancer. Aspinall’s quiet but strong leadership of the Beatles’ finances led him to be one of the most respected businessmen in the music industry. Starting as their road manager and driving the band to tour dates, […]

Artist(s)/Title - you know the routine. =D

Picks up the letter that’s lying there

What is with me and Zep these days? Zep AND depressing songs? However, I know I have rabid fans for both Zep and Baez so let the danceoff BEGIN! Who kicks this bad boy in the nads and who limps home?

And leather begets leather…
Our boy Keith, who has apparently tanned himself in preparation of his new duties as spokesmodel for Vuitton, will be featured in magazines next month. Following the delicate steps of Scarlett Johansson, Uma Thurmon and Mikhail Gorbachev, Richards’ accompanying slogan is “Some journeys cannot be put into words. New York. 3am. […]

Paul McCartney and iTunes have finally listened to my pleas (see, stalking does work) and will release the back-catalog of the Beatles soon. In a deal reported to be around $402 million, the money will be split between McCartney, Starr and the estates of Lennon and Harrison. EMI, Sony and Michael Jackson will […]

Gotta love this site! Musicovery is an interactive webRadio where by clicking the remote, moving the slider to the decade you wish and choosing the genre plus mood you’re in, you are given a selection of songs to play (and may download from Amazon) in that genre.
Groovy interface and appeals to the geek in […]

I’m still reeling over the bitch-slapping incident between Joan and Joni Mitchell. Ok, it was more of a leg-breaking fantasy wrestling match by Joni but it sure would have sold tickets.
Our friend Joan is revvin’ up her engines for 2008’s tour dates in the U.S. Bra-burning is optional.
