It’s love in the afternoon - am I the only one that remembers that from daytime TV? My mom would hang out, pretending to fold clothes on the couch while over-rouged women would catfight about some man with an exotic name. Long live Stephano! Ahem, sorry about that.

- I can’t start this list off without highlighting our friend Jennifer Chait’s work at Slices of Green. She’s busy saving the world while I think of something to compete with Camel Toe. sigh.
- Once upon a time, I dallied in Metal. Then my hair exploded in a nasty mosh pit incident that involved a bit too much product and I was over it. However, my buddy Scott at Metal Martyr is still beating his head in rhythm to the.. oh hell, I have no idea what the %Y#)@#$ you’re doing over there, man. Scott, if you can still hear me, I have some soothing incense for you over here…
- Gilan over at The Beatle Invasion always has me sneaking a peek after I write my posts here. I need my Paul fix - wha?? Don’t judge me.
- I promise not to hold Deb accountable for the recent rash of Dolly Parton sightings - why does she get smaller but her boobs get bigger? Hop over to She Plays Music to see what the heck I’m talking about. Oh Deb, I’m waiting for the Chrissie Hynde retrospective…….

A few things. I saw a t-shirt yesterday at walmart that said “The Hippies Were Right”. I thought of you and Jen. It’s part of their earth day thingy. I almost bought the one that said “Save the Planet, It’s The Only One With Beer”.
I hate incense, they suffocate me. Thanks for the link though.

Ha ha, you and Scott are too funny. I need to get back to Slices - I had no time and non-paid gigs are the first to go (sadly). But just quit a job, so more time abounds, I’ll be back there shortly. Thanks for the link love and laughs.
PS I would never buy a Walmart shirt, or anything else there for that matter (greenwashers) :( But those sayings are pretty funny.
